Pagoda and Pond

Pagoda and Pond

Yards with destinations and secret paths are more interesting.  Here, an island rests in the middle of the pond to host a small pagoda and Laceleaf Japanese Maple tree. Decorative grasses and natural rock line the perimeter.  A small path leads to a high spot above the pond to the weather proofed park bench.  From this high vantage point one can enjoy the soothing trickle of water and enjoy almost the entire yard. Wildflowers and a nearby pergola complete this mini-paradise. Design and Installation by GardenHere, LLC

Cascading Pond

Cascading Pond

There is nothing like the sound of water and a slight breeze blowing though a lazy willow to sooth the soul.  A large pond with a small bog pond at the bottom to filter and purify the recycled water makes the west end of this backyard a perfect destination.  This is a great morning spot to sip tea or drink coffee.  On cool evenings and at sunrise, it's a wonderful place to share a quiet cup of hot chocolate.
