Retaining walls add stability and provide water diversion to hill landscaping.  The original six foot patio was enlarged to twenty five feet by constructing this basket-weave retaining wall.  Behind the wall are several four inch PVC drain systems that direct the water and rain run-off to street gutters below the home.  The potted Wisteria tree in the foreground was recovered from overgrown brush in this once abandoned garden.
