Daylilies and Hydrangea
Four-layer daylilies add a bit of flare to these full-headed hydrangea blooms at a newly created garden destination. Originally this area was a steep slope full of weeds and was hard to reach with mowers or weed eaters. Clay was removed from a lower end of the property to make way for an enlarged paver patio and placed behind a three-foot retaining wall. Top soil and grass seed were added to provide a circular lush green space. Finally, existing daylilies were moved to rim the area and hydrangea were placed behind them to increase privacy and summer color. Design and installation by GardenHere, LLC
