Yards with destinations and secret paths are more interesting.  Here, an island rests in the middle of the pond to host a small pagoda and Laceleaf Japanese Maple tree. Decorative grasses and natural rock line the perimeter.  A small path leads to a high spot above the pond to the weather proofed park bench.  From this high vantage point one can enjoy the soothing trickle of water and enjoy almost the entire yard.
